- First, we began by measuring the walls to determine the height and length of the wainscoting panels. Precision was key to ensure a seamless fit. Next, we prepared the walls by cleaning them thoroughly and marking where the wainscoting would be installed.
- We then cut the panels to the required size, making sure each piece was perfectly measured to fit the specific sections of the wall. Using high-quality adhesive, we attached the panels to the wall, starting from one corner and working our way around the room. This step required careful alignment to maintain a consistent level and spacing between the panels.
- Once all the panels were in place, we secured them with finishing nails for extra stability. After the installation, we filled any gaps or nail holes with wood filler and sanded them smooth.
- The final steps involved priming and painting the wainscoting to match the room's decor, giving it a polished and professional finish.
