We rolled up our sleeves for a cleaning job in Meru, to give an entire house a sparkling makeover. We had one very simple goal, to transform a cluttered and dusty space into a sparkling home. We divided ourselves into groups, each focusing on a different part of the house. Some of us dusted off shelves and wiped windows, making them shine and let in more light. Others took on the floors, sweeping and mopping every corner to remove dirt and grime. In the kitchen, we tackled the greasy surfaces and organized the utensils neatly. The bedrooms received a fresh look too, with clean sheets and tidied wardrobes. Throughout the day, we worked tirelessly, supporting each other and sharing laughs. By the end of our project, the house looked completely different. It was not just about the physical cleaning, we felt a sense of accomplishment and unity. This experience showed us the power of teamwork and the joy of making a tangible difference in our community.
